contribute tutorials - logging on for the first time

This tutorial is for the first time you set up Contribute to connect to your website.

1. Open Contribute
2. Click on the Create Connection button.
3. You should now be in the Wizard to create a new connection. Click NEXT.
4. What is the web address (URL) of your website. Type in your website's address, including the http:// or click the Browse button to find it in a mini web browser that will pop up. Once you have the address of your website in the address field, click NEXT.
5. How do you connect to your web server. User the drop down box to choose FTP. More fields will now appear.
   FTP server, username & password will all be provided by Net Perceptions. Enter the details and click NEXT.
   If you get any anti-virus warnings, please allow Contribute to connect to the internet, or it will not work.
6. User Information - enter your name & your email address in the fields provided, click NEXT.
7. Click DONE. Contribute will now spend a few minutes scanning your entire website and getting ready to allow you to make changes. Note, if you have dial up, this process will be painfully slow and we recommend you upgrade to broadband.
