At a first glance, I found this program hard to comprehend, but after reading through the documentation that came with the software (available in it’s complete form HERE) the picture became clear. Once you understand it’s structure, it’s a very robust little software package that is capable of way more than most will ever need it to do.

Before you start playing around with the software, here’s an overview of the filing system:

• Photos need to be placed in to Albums (which must be created before you try to add your photos)
• Albums can be placed in to Categories for easier management (but if you don’t create any categories, all your albums will just be available on the front page)
• Categories can be nested, ie: you can have sub-categories.
  Sydney Photos (main category)
  >> July 2005 (sub category)
  >> August 2005 (sub category)
  …and so on.

Work out the names of categories and sub-categories and the names of your albums before you start. Tidy mind, tidy photo gallery
