email manager pro ~ importing & exporting subscribers

While exporting information from this program is simple enough, I actually find the importing feature to be below par. If you only have a few new subscribers to add, it's usually easier to add them manually. If you have a large number to import, this program isn't for you (and we wouldn't have installed it for you in the first place).

EXPORTING

1. Log in to Email Manager Pro
2. Click on Subscribers
3. Over on the right hand side, click on EXPORT
4. From all the radio button options, choose one (All Subscribers is probably the best, or if you want to know who's Unsubscribed you can choose that.
5. File Contains Headers, leave ticked.
6. Format: CSV for MS Excel, or if you're exporting for inclusion in to another database, you can choose CSV and decide a few manual settings for yourself.
7. Click EXPORT
8. Save the file on your computer

All the data will now be in an Excel file. Note, it's not all layed out nicely like a normal spreadsheet is, but all information for each user is displayed on one line, like the following:

Name;"Email";"Format";"Encoding";"Mailing Groups" (this is the header line)
Bob Smith;"bobsmith@hotmail.com";"html";"UTF-8";"Undefined" (this is an example entry)
