x-cart ~ creating a new administrator

When your shop is set up initially, there's one administrator set up. If you plan on having more than one staff member work on your store, you'll need to set up extra administrators.

  1. Under the Management section, click on Users
  2. Click on Create Administrator Profile
  3. Fill in the Personal information, Billing Address, Contact Information (it's straight forward)
  4. In the Username & Password section the Membership drop down box will determine what kind of access your administrator will get.
    * Choose NOT A MEMBER to give them full access
    * Choose FULFILLMENT STAFF to give them access to just order processing & statistics.
  5. Type in a Username & Password and confirm the password as requested.
  6. Account status, change to enabled (you can always go back and change it to suspended if you need to)
  7. Place a tick in the box next to Require to change password on next log in if you want the user to change their password on next login.
  8. Click Save
