x-cart ~ add subscribers to your news/mailing list
While people can join automatically via yoru website or when they place an order, you can also add people to the mailing list manually.
- Click on News Management under the Management section of the navigation
- You'll now see a list of the news groups you have created. If you don't have any, go and create one first. Click on the name of the group that you want to add your subscribers to.
- Click on subscriptions
- To add email addresses one at a time - type in the email address in the box provided under Add to the subscription, then click Add.
- To add multiple email addresses at once - prepare your list of email addresses in a Notepad file (one email address per line) Click the Browse button underneath the Import list of subscribers heading. Find the file on your computer, then click Open. Click the Import button.
