x-cart ~ how to delete a product

You can either permanently delete a product from your database, or you can make a product unavailable. Here's a tutorial for both.

permanently delete a product from the database

1. Search for your product (see tutorial)
2. Place a tick in front of the product/s you wish to delete
3. Click Delete Selected
4. When asked Are you Sure, click YES

temporarily remove a product from sale, but keep it in the database

1. Search for your product (see tutorial)
2. Click on the name of the product you wish to modify (or click on the SKU code)
3. Scroll down to Availability (under the classification heading)
4. Change the drop down box to Disabled
5. Scroll down & click Save
