x-cart ~ editing the terms & conditions page
x-cart has a pre-defined Terms & Conditions page, which lives in the HELP section of your website along with a Contact Us page, a Privacy Statement page & any other embedded static pages you choose to add.
- In the Administration section, click on Languages.
- In the Edit Language section at the top of the screen, use the drop down box and choose English
- You now have access to change a vast amount of different 'default text' options through the entire website. In between the 'Edit Language' box and the 'Edit language entries' box, there's an area where you can search to find the language variable you wish to change - Select Topic and Apply Filter
Select Topic - choose Text from the drop down box
Apply Filter gives you the option to narrow the search. To edit the Terms & Conditions page, we're going to edit the section labeled txt_conditions_customer. Type part or all of this in to the box provided and click Go.
- Place a tick in the checkbox of txt_conditions_customer, make your changes (using the WYSIWYG editor if necessary), then click the Update All button.
