zenphoto tutorials - create a new album & upload photos

A note about resizing images before we begin.

While ZenPhoto resizes your images and creates the small thumbnails automatically, there is a limit on how large the images can be that are uploaded. Each photo can be no larger than 2mb in file size. You should either:-

a) make the image smaller in an image editing program such as Adobe Photoshop Elements - 800 pixels wide will be fine.

b) optimise the photo, keeping the actual size but reducing the file size. You can do this with Adobe Photoshop Elements, or the Photo Optimiser at www.ashampoo.com

1. Log in.
2. Click the UPLOAD tab
3. Upload to: leave the / in place.
4. Make a new album .... make sure there's a tick in here
5. called: put the name of the new album in here (use spaces & punctuation)
6. with the folder name: you can leave this to autogenerate, or take the tick out and name the folder yourself. No spaces, no capitals please.
7. Click the Browse button to find the image on your computer (repeat as necessary and click the + Add more upload boxes if you don't have enough) - NOTE: don't do too many at once, especially if they are large images and/or you have a slow connection.
8. Click UPLOAD
